Techmetals is currently NIST 800-171 compliant.

We proudly implement the recommended security controls to protect Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) in non-federal systems and organizations, particularly for defense contractors.

CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification) is a system of compliance levels that helps the government, specifically the Department of Defense, determine whether an organization has the security necessary to work with controlled or otherwise vulnerable data.

Techmetals is currently operating under a POAM developed to address gaps identified by our 3rd party accessor (C3PAO-company) during a preliminary assessment completed on 4/27/26. Based upon the identified POAM items, the POAM and Level 2 (C3PAO) certification audit is expected to be completed prior to 9/30/26.
