Passivation

Techmetals’ Passivation treatment helps reduce environmental factors like water or oxidation (rust) from compromising a stainless steel part. During production, iron deposits and other materials may be present on stainless steel parts. It is these imperfections that allow corrosion to begin affecting the substrate with oxidation.

Passivation cleans the surface of the substrate and offers a corrosion-resistant finish. Industries that make use of this process include the automotive, aviation, electronics, fasteners, telecommunication, machining, medical, military fields and more.

Techmetals offers a quick turnaround, rack plating and will accommodate orders of any size.
