There is no substitute for experience. Techmetals has experienced a long working relationship with America’s most demanding manufacturers. Techmetals has more than experience in the automotive, aviation, nuclear, hydraulics, plastics, printing, pulp, paper, tool, mold, and steel industries – we also have the sensitivity to understand customer needs.

Our engineers know how to intelligently counsel and guide customers. They know how to work as one cohesive family to benefit the customer. When the part is being designed we invlove our engineers so they can help write the finished specifications and stand behind the results.

Techmetals’ processes can handle parts up to 10,000 pounds, exceeding 10 feet in length. Both prototype work and high-volume production are processed in our modern 100,000+ square foot campus. Using our insitu processes, we have plated parts weighing 25,000 pounds.

Techmetals is active in many trade associations and is recognized as an industry leader. We have combined the technology and the experience to plate extremely difficult jobs. That’s why the majority of Techmetals’ jobs come from referrals and other metal finishing companies.

Environmentally Responsible
Techmetals is dedicated to the safety of our environment and works side-by-side with governmental agencies. Many of  our coatings comply to RoHs, ELV, and WEE regulations.

Techmetals has one overwhelming goal: the best possible quality and delivery at the most economical cost. With our wide range of unique engineered coatings, we can often times offer alternatives and solutions not available by most of our competitors.

Single Source Responsibility
This is accomplished by helping to engineer the least expensive plating process, using advanced technology to find the best coating; single source responsibility, to cut down on transportation costs and errors; and the use of strict quality control procedures. We understand the expense of missed deliveries and have policies and procedures to ensure that your parts are delivered on time.

Turnkey service
Techmetals offers a complete range of services for engineering finishes. This is shown by our ability to plate and to finish grind/polish parts. The traditional problems between the plating, grinding, and polishing sources with the customer in the middle, are eliminated. Techmetals takes the responsibility for a complete job from start to finish. The range of service covers hard chrome, electroless nickel, anodize, and tin specially designed engineered coatings and processes, grinding, polishing, brush plating, assembly, welding, blasting, vapor-degreasing, and heat treatment. All these processes are offered to provide our customers with a complete service at a reduced cost.

Confidentiality and Security
In todays age we understand our customer needs for security. All of our team members complete classes on security and confidentiality. Many of our employees have security clearances, and all have signed confidentiality  non-disclosure agreements.

Our People
We believe a company is no better than its people. Techmetals has a dedicated workforce with our teams. We offer many classes ranging from Stephen Covey’s 7-Habits to hard skills on blue print reading and plating. We have chemical engineers and nine employees that hold CEF certifications. This is an industry standard similar to a degree in plating technology.

Techmetals has the latest systems ranging from business systems to truechem for our chemistries. Our plating and cleaning chemistries are the tools or machines that bring our success. We must have the latest systems in place to not only monitor if they are in spec, but to prevent them from going out of specification.
