Our Engineering staff focuses on creating solutions for customer
problems and applications for critical equipment. Another focus is supporting R&D
to design new coating processes from our
lab to commercialization.
Techmetals has Technical Staff that support engineering, labs, and operations.
Techmetals currently employs nine Certified Electro-Finishers (CEF). This certification
program, in addition to the global exam based program, shows knowledge in Electroplating
and the Surface Finishing industry; along with Techmetals commitment to employees and
customers.

Techmetals currently employs four Master Surface Finishers (MSF). The requirement
is to
be a CEF and pass additional exams/programs to obtain certification in five
of the listed core programs:
- Aluminum Finishing
- Chromium Plating
- Electroforming
- Electroless Deposition
- Precious Metals Plating and Zinc Plating

The next step is to complete the MSF program/certification. One must also get certification
in one of the following programs as an elective or focus of study.
- Innovative Pollution Prevention
- OSHA Safety & Compliance
- Precision Cleaning/Regulatory Compliance
- Wastewater Treatment & Control
- Corrosion & Salt Spray.
